Prodigy (Prodigy Multipurpose Society) is a youth-led organization working across education, healthcare, livelihoods, women empowerment, social justice and environmental development in Maharashtra. We focus on sustainable, community-driven impact.
Darshan Bodhare, the Founder–President and CEO of Prodigy Multipurpose Society, has always been driven by one belief — that leadership is meaningful only when it uplifts others. His journey began not in boardrooms, but in the middle of real challenges faced by students, youth, and communities. Over the years, he became a known face for taking bold stands, organizing peaceful movements, and ensuring that the voices of the underserved were heard.
His early work across Maharashtra’s student and social sectors earned him deep respect and recognition. Darshan has led numerous initiatives — from academic reforms and health awareness to mentorship, community development, and large-scale youth mobilization. His commitment to public welfare also led him to collaborate with various organizations, councils, and foundations, creating long-lasting impact across education and social justice.
Through consistent dedication, Darshan has been honoured with several recognitions, including being awarded the Best Pharmacist of the Year by the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council (MSPCI), a testament to his credibility and service-minded approach. He was also entrusted as Co-ordinator for the Government of India’s PJYK initiative, and served as Secretary of the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Students Council (PSCM) — roles that reflect strong leadership, administrative capability, and community-first thinking.
Today, as he pursues his MBA at the prestigious IIM Nagpur, Darshan brings a blend of grassroots experience and professional management education to Prodigy. His vision is simple yet powerful:
to build an India where every individual — child, youth, woman, or family — has the opportunity to rise, learn, heal, and thrive.
Darshan leads Prodigy with the same passion that shaped his early social work — grounded leadership, strategic thinking, and an unshakeable commitment to inclusive development. Under his guidance, Prodigy continues to grow into a youth-driven movement for empowerment, excellence, and sustainable community change
I founded Prodigy Multipurpose Society with a simple belief — when one person rises, a community rises with them. My journey began as a student volunteer, helping those who didn’t have access to the opportunities they deserved. Today, Prodigy stands as a platform where youth, communities, and partners come together to create real, measurable impact. Every child educated, every family supported, and every skill nurtured moves us one step closer to an empowered society. I invite you to join us in this mission — because excellence is not a destination, it is a collective journey.”
